The perfect gift for cat lovers. You'll find loads of interpretations & analysis of this poem, some say the main character - ‘Black Minnaloushe’ - was a real cat belonging to Maud Gonne...or her daughter Iseult, or Lady Gregory. Who knows? Most agree the cat represents Yeats himself & the moon Maud & anyway, it makes a lovely cat image.
